Fiverr claim that they sell a gig every five seconds. A total of over 25 million gigs labelled complete since its inception. The average price range for a gig is between $5 and $10,000.

So how Do You Earn Money on Fiverr?

First of all, you need to sign up for a free account. Once you gain access to your account, you can search for a gig that suits your skillset.

From there, you can offer your services to a global audience.  It does not matter if English is not your first language. Your client may speak the same language as you.

When you're starting, it's always a good idea to over-deliver as you will get reviews if you do good work.  Don't be discouraged if you only get $5 for a gig. See this as being an investment in yourself. It helps you to promote your online reputation.  You can ask more later as you expand.

Social Media Management

If you don't have much experience with social media management, you could start with a simple package offering to maintain a client's social media account.

With more experience, you can potentially offer a premium service like managing Facebook Ads.  There is an example given in the video.

These are all quite valuable services for prospective clients. Especially true when they don't have the time to spend on these tasks.

Instagram Shoutout

This gig applies to individuals that have set up a popular Instagram account. The potential client will pay for you to shout them out on your account.

Also, to re-share some of their pictures on your account. So make sure to leverage your Instagram social media account on Fiverr.

Holding a Message

This gig is more or less a graphic design gig where you take a stock picture and add their message or logo to the image.

As well as this, you can upsell with your client's message and logo on other media like video used for social media.

Blog Comments

This gig helps the customer making manual comments on their block posts to help start visitor interaction and engagement.  One hundred per cent niche relevant.

All in all, manual blog comments help to turn a boring blog into an interactive web conversation.

The blog comments Fiverr gig can be done by anyone with almost no experience.

Voiceover Artist

With a little bit of additional equipment, this could be a gig for you. You will need a good microphone and some audio editing software to make your voiceovers sound professional.

You may be surprised what people are after with the voiceovers. You could have the voice that they are after.

Virtual Assistant

Being a virtual assistant, you will assist your client in doing tasks that they do not have the time to do themselves.  These could be such things as phone call answering, typing and general office work.

Proofreading

Proofreading will allow you to earn some extra income going over other people's writing and checking for grammar and spelling mistakes.  If English is not your strong point, you can use applications like Grammarly to assist you with your work.

Translations

Many businesses today want to do business with companies that speak a different language to gain market share.

If you understand multiple languages, you might find that the translation gig could be some easy money for you.  Here you will do written translations that will assist your customer.

He points out a profile that has accrued 613 reviews and charges $20 for up to 500 words to translate English to Spanish.  To add, you can always upsell your translation service to additional premium products.

Transcribing Audio

Podcasters and video producers sometimes need written translations to publish their content as text on their blogs.

This type of gig usually works well if you have a fast typing speed. More importantly, though, you can listen to the audio and accurately transcribe to written text.

Blog Writing

The author of this video alludes to potentially offering one price on Fiverr for blog writing services.  Then outsource to others that can provide the same service cheaper.

I'm not sure if this is such a great idea. Quite often, when a service is cheap, the quality is not very good.   However, if you can make this work for you, this could be a good idea.

My suggestion is, learn to be a good blog writer, then you can charge more!

WordPress Support

Do you have a good understanding of the WordPress content management system platform? You could offer your services to help others fix their issues.

Having a thorough knowledge of using WordPress could be an entry point for this gig. Possibly you have development skills where you can alter themes and plugins? Even better.

WordPress is very a popular platform and is in high demand. If you are looking to increase your earning potential, these gigs usually pay well.

Infographics

You may think that you are not qualified to do gigs in the graphics and design section of the Fiverr site.   However, Have you ever considered doing infographics?

If you have a little bit of a creative flair, this could be a gig worth considering. The client will provide you with all the data and a general brief. From there, you can put together the infographic.

Today there are many services on the web that will assist you with putting together infographics. It can be as simple as selecting a suitable template and altering the text to match.

TIP: Canva is a great online application for creating infographics.

Stay positive and build those reviews!

Hopefully, you find this video informative. Finding freelance jobs for beginners can be difficult without some guidance.
